I love it! This is exactly what we do each Friday morning as well! =) We actually have three trucks--green waste, recycling and trash. They go up and down both sides of the street, so the boys get to see six trucks over the space of a few hours. Pretty much heaven for little boys!
That means 4 fridays out of 5 they are seeing me or hubby dashing in barely more than our whites to get the can to the road just before the truck gets to our house. (the other 20% of fridays the can doesn't make it out of the garage...) That's not why you're moving is it? ;)
