Car Show

What better to do on Father's day weekend then go to a car show with Jon's dad. We picked up Grandpa and headed down to Bountiful. All the proceeds of the car show and booths go to a charity called Coats For Kids. So not only did we get to have fun but it was for a good cause.
 Jon and Nathan

There was this big truck that had placed mirrors under it so that everyone could see the set up underneath and Nathan decided to crawl under and look in the mirror.

By the stage  where the band was, Spider-man and Cinderella were posing for pics

The boys and Gpa. We asked Nathan to turn around and responded 'I not going to turn round' (He's 3... can you tell)

 They had a few motorcycles

The boys loved the way the doors opened on this one.

When we got in the car to drive home we asked to the boys what their favorite part was and Nathan responded 'the tractors'

Here's the big boys by the Firestone race car. They are also holding their balloon swords.

Nathan showing off his sword ( it lasted maybe 5 minutes before it popped). Also we all shared some Cotton Candy, and we let the boys chose between a Snow Cones or a Creamies Popsicle.

Jon and the gang checking out the Shelby GT.

Landon's Hike

This summer Jon has decided to take each of the boys on a special outing by them selves. Landon really wanted to go hiking so right after breakfast Landon, Jon and Dex left to go hike Adam's Canyon. So they packed some water and a snack in the backpack and headed out.

This huge tree had tipped over so Landon climbed up on the roots

Camping fun

So we decided to take a quick camping trip up Ogden Canyon this past weekend. It was our first family camping trip of the year and we even took the puppy with us. All in all it was really fun, the kids had a blast and the puppy loved it. At least until bedtime. We thought it would be best to have Dex sleep in his kennel in the back of the van with the windows cracked for air. It would have been fine except that he ended up howling and whimpering most of the night. Oh well, we've learned and know that for next time he will sleep in the tent with us. I was on a roll and ended up forgetting a few things, one of which was the camera but luckily we both had our phones. So all these pics are taken by our cell phones.
Nathan loved to go and find a 'big' rock, then climb up onto that huge rock and drop it in the water. If you look closely the rock he is dropping is at about his ankle.

Landon and Kyler of course had to venture our further.

Here's all three playing in the stream/river. If you look Dex is beside the huge rock that Nathan is on. Dex loved playing by the stream. We took his runner chain and Jon hammer the spike into the ground so Dex could play and have a little more freedom.

What is camping without climbing on rocks. This pic is considered mostly a success in my books, because all the boys are smiling and 2 out of 3 have their eyes open and looking at me.

Here's all my good looking guys.

Kyler's Kindergarten Graduation

Kyler was in the Whale Shark group, Which is what kind of hat he is wearing.

His group recited this poem:
Whale sharks have up to 3000 tiny teeth
But they don't use them for chewing.
If you rub against a shark you might bleed
Because their skin is like sharp teeth.

 Ky peeking over his glasses
His whole class. His teacher is the one sitting in the blue chair leading them through the song.
They're all wearing glasses because the song they preformed was a rap called We're Sharks Leavin' Our Marks.

All 5 kindergarten class came back at the end to sing Ocean's of Fun.
