Cast is gone

After five weeks Kyler is finally cast free. He is still limping a little but that is normal for a few days(so they say). On his finally x-rays the technition let Landon go behind the little wall and push the button to actually take the picture. I think the best part for Kyler was when he could take a bath like a normal person instead of having to wear a special cast cover. Needless to say we just excited that it is all done with and Kyler is doing well.

Buddies

Landon and Kyler are enjoying the company of their cousin Bryon and neighbor Ashton. After pulling everything out of the boys room they decided to watch a cartoon instead.

Helping out

Landon has really been a huge help during this whole open house process. I decided to wash our fouton cover today so that it will look extra nice for the next open house on Saturday. While it was in the wash Landon was using the dust duster to clean up any crumbs that got on the pad itself.

New Cast

Kyler got his new cast. We took Ky back to the Sports Medicine doctors to get his red long leg cast cut off and to get his new one. He was amazingly brave. He never cried the entire time. The main thing he really just hated was having to get x-rays done again, these were his third set of x-rays so as soon as we went in he knew what was going on. His new cast makes it a lot easier to walk. It is a short leg cast and his foot is flat rather than pointed like his red one. I know that Ky can hardly wait to get the cast off so that he can finally wear his shoe again.
