Playing 'Grandma'

On Friday morning while I was trying to get some stuff done. I found the boys playing with my shoes. This is nothing new. Then I heard the phrase 'this is my purse', so naturally I went to investigate. I found the boys both wearing my high heel shoes, and carring 'purses' (they are actually camera cases). I asked what they were doing and they responded... "We're playing Grandma"!

Krista's Party

So Krista and her friend Ben, being the fun loving people that they are, decided that they wanted to have a joint birthday party and that they would turn 5 again. So I took the boys down to be able to join in on the fun. They had a pinata stuffed with candy and other yummy goodies but their biggest thing the an ostrich cake they they decided to make. My sister Melissa and I thought it would be fun to get them little gifts appropriate for a 5 year old. Krista and Ben liked it so much that every year on Sept. 19th they would have a birthday for themselves and always turn 5! (I might want to note that neither of their birthday's are even in September). I guess that just made it that much more fun.

Preschool

Today was Landon's first day of preschool. A few mom's from our ward are doing a 'joy school' for our kids. Landon was really excited! We have discovered that Landon's attention span is not quit were I would like it to be. It will just take some time to get used to sitting to do the lesson/activities.

Getting close

Well, our house is coming right along. We should be in in about 2-3 weeks! All the was have been textured and painted the stone is on the outside and they started our tile this weekend. We can hardly wait to be in our own home... especially before all of the big holidays.

Growing up

Sunday at Church Landon got to do the scripture for openning exercises. I asked him what he wanted the scripture to be about and he siad the Holy Ghost. See we did John 14:26 We practiced for everyone in the house about a half a dozen times before church. He stood right up there and did a great job! It's hard to believe my little boy is growing up so quickly.
