Water fun

Landon splashing Jett with his cup of water.

Nathan's first time in a little swimming pool. His favorite part was climbing in and out of the pool.

He also enjoyed splashing in the water table.

After a little while Ky got too cold and just wanted to lay on his towel and work on his tan.

During the school year each child got to celebrate their birthday so they let the kids with summer birthdays get their crowns too. Kyler was very proud of his birthday crown.

Here are most of the kids from preschool. It was a fun year.... thanks so much to Kristen and Jen.

Camping...rained out style

Jon was planning on taking the boys to the father/son camp out last night but the weather had something else in mind. So that Jon didn't have to break a promise and the boys could still go 'camping', Jon set up our smaller tent in the basement and the boys slept in it. Somehow Jon got out of having to sleep downstairs too.

Hair Cuts for the Boys

This Morning Nathan got his first hair cut. We cut all of the boys but I only took an after pic of Nathan. For being a wiggly little boy he did a pretty good job of sitting still while Jon took the clippers to his head.

I'm growing up to be a parent

Kyler has been proclaiming that when he grows up he will be a parent. And according to him as soon as he becomes a parent his hair will miraculously be spiky, and lately he has added that he will have spiky hair on his chin too. (Gee who does it sound like he's describing!?).

Nathan's 1st Birthday

Here is the birthday boy. He is such a smart little guy, he learned a new word on his birthday... CHEESE! How convinent, right. All I had to do was have the camera in front of him and he would say Cheese!

On Nathan's actual birthday I made him pancakes and even stuck a candle in them.... I didn't bother to light it this time.

Present Time

Nathan wasn't thrilled at the idea of having to sit still with Daddy... until he got to open the presents

Bubble Mower! Trying to figure out what to get Nathan was difficult because he is the 3rd boy and really do have most things for that age.

Pushing his mower. He doesn't even know that this will be a chore when he gets bigger.

Be Our Guest

Payten decided to take a little snooze while we ate.
Kid table! Nathan had 6 of his little cousins (and their parents of course) share in his special day.

Have my cake and Eat it too

Nathan liked the cake so much the spoon wasn't fast enough.

Blowing out the candle. If you look closely, you can see Landon holding Nathan's hand so he wouldn't grab the candle.

Here is my lion cake creation. Since Nathan was too little to make a decision on what kind of cake I decided to make a lion because he is always growling at his stuffed lion named Leon.

Backyard Fun

Now that it is warm outside we can actually enjoy our swing set more. One of the necessities for this Spring was an infant swing for Nathan. He absolutely loves it. When the boys are outside playing Nathan will bang on the sliding door wanting to go out with them.

Happy Easter

Showing off their baskets after the egg hunt that the Easter Bunny left for them.

There has been a puzzle craze going through the Humphries house for the past 6 months so the Easter Bunny brought new puzzles for Landon and Kyler. Here is Jon helping the boys do their puzzles while I made our traditional general conference breakfast of coffee cake and eggs.

Easter Crafts

Saturday the Humphries fam got together for a little Easter fun. We had an egg hunt and then did a couple of crafts with Aunt Michelle and Aunt Jeni. The boys had a blast spending the day with cousins and building their anticipation of Easter.

My knight in plastic armor

Kyler was pretending to be a knight and came out dressed like this. He has the Mr. Potato Head bucket as a helmet, a tray from his tool box for a shield, and his light saber for his sword. He's ready for battle.

10 months.... really?!?!

I've been meaning to post some cute pics of my baby but this have been extremely busy for us. So here are pics of Nathan honoring his 10 month mark.

First attempt at corn on the cob.

He was a pro at rolling and army crawling but officially started crawling a couple of weeks ago. Jon said he couldn't get his big belly off the ground and that's why he wouldn't crawl. As his proud mom I can not agree with my dear husband.

Nathan pulls himself up on everything. This was his attempt to get out of having to get dressed this morning. He crawled to his crib and stood up trying to get away from me.

Here is my silly/happy boy. He has been pretty grouchy lately with cutting his top two teeth so this was a good morning. If you look closely his t-shirt says 'my goal is to be as cool as my Daddy' (thanks to grandma)
