House Project

We decided to do a little pop of color in our house so here it is. It was only suppose to only take a day BUT it took almost a week due to Grandma's passing. Actually I guess it still isn't completed because we need to repaint the bench but you can still get the idea from the pics.

Remembering Grandma Gordon

Our dear Grandma Gordon passed away this past Saturday. So here are some picture memories of Grandma.

Holding Nathan for the first time.

Holding Kyler at his blessing.

When Landon was born Grandma was just getting over a little cold so she didn't want to hold him that day. So Aunt Michelle is holding Landon with Grandma standing close by.

Here we are with Grandma Gordon on our wedding day. (this is a pic of the original so its not that great)

Monkeying around

I love bargains! I was at store with my boys and I found this really cute monkey coat holder. I thought it was really cute for Nathan's room so I looked at the price $2.50. SOLD! Now I just couldn't pass that up.

He has been OUT as long as he was IN

That's right Nathan is 9 months old today. He is such a pleasant little guy and I can honestly say that on some days Nathan is truly my sanity when it comes to being a mom.

I love this pic so that you can see every cute, cuddly roll that he has.

I know this pic is blurry but Nathan now says 'Hi' and waves his hand and this is the best way to show it in a pic.

We LOVE to READ!

The boys have been enjoying Valentine's for a few days now. Wednesday Landon and Kyler had their Valentine party at preschool. Friday night we had a heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's and watch a movie with the kiddos. Sunday morning we had heart shaped pancakes and we gave each of the boys two new books. We want our kids to enjoy reading/looking at books. To finish off the day we made Hershey kiss cookies for dessert.

Snow

A couple of days ago we got some decent snow for the kiddos to play in. So out we went to our white backyard.

You may realize that there are in deed 4 boys not 3. I was watch Bryon while his parents were having their baby girl. Here are all the boys stopping long enough for the camera to click.

Landon and Bryon made there very own snowman. They came to the sliding door and asked for stuff to make a face. By nap time the top two layers had already fallen off.

This was Nathan's first time actually going to play in the snow. I made him a snowball and he was fascinated with. It was a little difficult to hold with his snow suit on.

Stair fascination

I don't know what the fascination is with the stairs but ever since we put up a gate at the top the stairs have been the 'it' place to play. I don't know if that is because the boys don't want Nathan to mess up their toys or what. Nathan looks so sad stuck upstairs only being able to watch his brothers play.

Pinned Ya

Nathan and Jon were having a wrestling match and Nathan totally won.

This is the latest pic of all my boys together. They were playing in my rocking chair in Nathan's room. I know it's not the best pic but It's hard to get all three kiddos to cooperate.

8 months old!

I can hardly believe that my Nathan is 8 months old today. He seems to be growing faster than his brothers and it makes me a little sad He is so content playing with his toys in the living room (most of the time at least). He has his own baskets that hold his toys and he loves to tip them over and dump his toys all around him. I think he must have learned this from his brothers because they are professional toy dumpers.

Tuckered Out!!

Kyler fell asleep in the middle of the living room holding the movie case that he wanted to watch for quiet time.

Nathan has started to move around a little more when he sleeps. I went to check on him during his nap and this is how I found him.

Snow fun

The boys have been very antsy being stuck inside. There isn't snow actually falling from the sky but they still can't really play outside. So I bundled them up and let them go enjoy their swing set. Just to clarify, Landon is being nice and pushing Kyler in the swing not pushing him out of the swing... but I wouldn't put it past him.

Now that Nathan is getting all around he gets really frustrated to sit in the hop-n-pop, so this is how he plays with it now. I'm not sure how he got all the way under there but he did.

Nate is Great!!!

I guess I should start by saying that NO I do not call him Nate, it is hard to find words that rhyme with Nathan. Anyways, I took this very adorable pic of Nathan on New Years and just had to share it. So here is a quick update on my baby boy. He is now 7 months old, has 2 teeth (the first of which he got on Christmas day), is a fantastic roller... he can literally roll all over the house. Nathan is starting to get up on his hands and knees but thus far can only go backwards. He LOVES to eat. He is getting less interested in baby food and more interested in what is on every one's plates. He can shake his head 'No', and his laugh is getting a little more like a chuckle. He sounds like a motor boat a lot because he loves to spit and make noises with his mouth. Nathan is a very happy baby who thinks that 'Mom' is the best person in the world... as it should be.

Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam!!!

Yesterday was Kyler's first official day in primary. I was so proud of my little man.... he walked right in and sat down with his class. I teach in primary so I was a little nervous that he would try to come and sit with me. When he saw me in the back of the room he wave his pointer finger at me and smiled. (sigh) I can't believe how quickly they grow up.
