Since Kyler really couldn't enjoy the snow last year, this was his first true expecience playing in the snow. Kyler kept on eating the snow then complaining that is was too cold.

Wrestling with Daddy

While Mom cooks dinner it is Daddy's job to entertain the boys. Whenever Jon is home the boys are always right by him doing any/everything with him.

Big Boy Bed

After getting tired of Kyler flipping into the crib about a dozen times an hour we dicided to go ahead and make the move to a toddler bed. He has done remarkably well. He will even nap in it which was something that Landon never would do. Kyler is talking up a storm now, and is even starting to put works together as well as tattletale.

Rude Awakening

Landon decided to take it upon himself to go wake-up Kyler. So he decided that he could put Mom's yoga ball in the crib and play. Then only flaw in his marvalous plan was that the ball was too big... there was no room for playing.

Climbing Kyler

Kyler has discovered how to climb into his bed. He tips over the rubbermaid filled with stuffed animals then stands on it, the he bends over the side of the crib and flops in. He is always very proud of himself once he has gotten in but then he realizes that he can't get back out.

Time Change Challenge

Since the time change we have had a difficult time with Kyler adjusting to it. I came out to the living room and found him asleep in the rocking chair with his blanket and giraffe.

Happy Halloween

Kyler was decked out in his Giraffe costume. For his first time actually going out trick or treating he did pretty good, the best part is that we had great weather for the special day.

Trick or Treat

Landon and Bryon all dressed up and ready for trick or treating. Bryon was batman and Landon was a 'good' knight. He made sure to tell everyone that he was a 'good knight', rather than just a plain knight.

Kyler's pumpkin

Kyler got really excited to carve the pumpkins this year. We had to make sure that he had his binky in his mouth so that he wouldn't eat the pumpkin guts.

Landon's Pumpkin

Landon was very proud of this pumpkin that Daddy helped him carve.

Kyler wasn't too sure what to think of the whole experience but enjoyed throwing the hay.

Pumpkin Picking

Landon took great pride in the pumpkin that he picked out. We actually got to pick them right off the vine.

Hayride

For FHE we went on a hayride that took us to a pumpkin patch. We went with Jon's brother and his family as well as Grandma (Jon's mom).

Bats!

For craft time Landon and Astrid made bats. Then we hung them to the ceiling fan so that they could fly around the room.

Presents!

Landon was very excited for his birthday this year. He had been singing the happy birthday song around the house for days before the actually event. He received a lot of cool gifts including tools, movie, games, an airplane, walkie-talkies, and a bike.

Red Tricycle

For Landon's birthday Mom and Dad surprised him with a new bike. He was really excited and started to ride it around the room.

Spotting Scopes

Since Landon is really into Diego we had Landon and his cousin Bryon make spotting scopes just like Diego's. They proceeded to search around Grandma and Grandpa's house looking for any animals to spot.

Nice a cozy

While the other kids were busy playing, Kyler (in his pjs) snuggled with Grandma and read a story.

Hiss

Landon decided that for his birthday I needed to make a snake cake... so here is my creation.

Boys Hair Cuts

This morning we had a hair cutting party so to speak. I cut Jon's hair, then he cut both of the boys' hair. This was Kyler's first hair cut. It was much needed but made me sad to get rid of the curls. Sorry the picture isn't better but trying to get both kids to look at you at the same time and look decent it can be a challenge.

Curious Kyler

Kyler is getting to the age when kids really like to get into eveything. This morning Kyler discovered that he can reach the DVD player (with a little help of his trust sand bucket). He is growing up so fast and almost out weights big brother.

Ready for School

Landon and his friend Astrid are ready to go to school with their backpacks on. I babysit Astrid and her brother Johnny twice a week, so she and Landon have become close friends. Since Landon sees Jon leave to school every morning he love to pretend to go to school too.
