This was a HUGE task for Jon to tackle. It took him just as long to do all of this then it did for him to frame and run the electrical for the rest of the basement. At least it's done!

And the mess begins

Yep, that's right, we've started framing the basement this week. Actually Jon had the whole thing framed in about a day and a half. I am so grateful for my handy husband who does the work himself. It gives him a fun project to work on while saving us money. We'll keep you posted as the work progresses but for now the noise level in our house has increased tremendously and I already have saw dust on my stairs thanks to the boys.

Hello 2011

Since Jon was stuck at work the boys and I rang in the new year together. We made party crowns and noise maker, watched movies, and ate ice cream sundaes. I put Nathan down at 8 but told the boys they could stay up late with me..... well they made it to 8:48 before they crashed. I guess my kids just aren't night people.
