Cookie Creations

After Christmas Eve dinner the boys decorated cookies to leave for Santa, complete with red and green icing and sprinkles of course.

Landon puts out the cookies and milk so that Santa can have quick snack while dropping off some toys.

As soon a Kyler opened his wheeling backpack he stood up and was ready to leave.

Santa's pack must have been very heavy having to deliver Jon a new tool set including a new drive, saw, etc.

Santa brought Holly a Kitchen Aid, which was put to use to make dinner.

After everything was opened. Now it's time to clean up and make room to play.

Wii

For our big family present from Santa we got a Wii. This is Jon and Landon playing the boxing game. It was/is a lot of fun and its true that you do get a pretty good workout while playing.

First Snow

Since Kyler really couldn't enjoy the snow last year, this was his first true expecience playing in the snow. Kyler kept on eating the snow then complaining that is was too cold.

Snow Angels

Landon and our neighbor Ashton enjoy making snowangels in the first 'good' snow of the season.

Wrestling with Daddy

While Mom cooks dinner it is Daddy's job to entertain the boys. Whenever Jon is home the boys are always right by him doing any/everything with him.

Big Boy Bed

After getting tired of Kyler flipping into the crib about a dozen times an hour we dicided to go ahead and make the move to a toddler bed. He has done remarkably well. He will even nap in it which was something that Landon never would do. Kyler is talking up a storm now, and is even starting to put works together as well as tattletale.

Rude Awakening

Landon decided to take it upon himself to go wake-up Kyler. So he decided that he could put Mom's yoga ball in the crib and play. Then only flaw in his marvalous plan was that the ball was too big... there was no room for playing.

Climbing Kyler

Kyler has discovered how to climb into his bed. He tips over the rubbermaid filled with stuffed animals then stands on it, the he bends over the side of the crib and flops in. He is always very proud of himself once he has gotten in but then he realizes that he can't get back out.

Time Change Challenge

Since the time change we have had a difficult time with Kyler adjusting to it. I came out to the living room and found him asleep in the rocking chair with his blanket and giraffe.

Happy Halloween

Kyler was decked out in his Giraffe costume. For his first time actually going out trick or treating he did pretty good, the best part is that we had great weather for the special day.

Trick or Treat

Landon and Bryon all dressed up and ready for trick or treating. Bryon was batman and Landon was a 'good' knight. He made sure to tell everyone that he was a 'good knight', rather than just a plain knight.

Kyler's pumpkin

Kyler got really excited to carve the pumpkins this year. We had to make sure that he had his binky in his mouth so that he wouldn't eat the pumpkin guts.

Landon was very proud of this pumpkin that Daddy helped him carve.

Kyler wasn't too sure what to think of the whole experience but enjoyed throwing the hay.

Pumpkin Picking

Landon took great pride in the pumpkin that he picked out. We actually got to pick them right off the vine.

Hayride

For FHE we went on a hayride that took us to a pumpkin patch. We went with Jon's brother and his family as well as Grandma (Jon's mom).
