Yep, that's right, we've started framing the basement this week. Actually Jon had the whole thing framed in about a day and a half. I am so grateful for my handy husband who does the work himself. It gives him a fun project to work on while saving us money. We'll keep you posted as the work progresses but for now the noise level in our house has increased tremendously and I already have saw dust on my stairs thanks to the boys.

How fun. Make sure you include lots of storage space. I forgot about that when Brent built the cabin and now it's too late! :(
