Christmas Eve Festivities

I know it's a little difficult to see but I had the cutest shepherds and wiseman. Nathan is actually holding a stuffed lamb that's almost as big as he is.

I love this pic because if you look at Nathan (wearing orange and blue) He didn't make a house but had to be at the table eating handfuls of M&Ms.

Sunday we got together with my sisters that live in Utah. We ate yummy soup, decorated gingerbread houses, read a Christmas book, had hot chocolate and dessert, and pasted out Christmas present from my parents. It is so fun getting together and letting our crazy kids play.

18 Months already

Today was Nathan's first day of nursery. I have been dreading this day for the simple reason of I didn't want to be the mom with the child that screams the whole time. BUT Nathan did great! Jon took him in ( which is the key) and he didn't even cry when daddy left. I can't believe how big he is. tear

Friday Night Fun

Since Jon went back to working nights, it has been just me and my three munchkins. We have made Friday nights into our movie night. We all get into our jammies and pull out the sleeping bags and watch a movie. It's become something that they look forward to now and they plan the movie a week in advanced sometimes. Well it is time for the movie to start... that's my cue to get off the computer.

This time of year

Can you believe it is the holiday season already? Well, this has been the scene at our house for the past week or so. We have received 4 toy magazine/adds and the boys have been studying them for hours and have already started their wish list.

The boys drew what they wanted on a piece of paper then Jon and I went to work. Nathan absolutely loves his pumpkin and screamed when we put the carved pumpkins back out on the porch.

Cinderella and the Prince

We went to a pumpkin walk on Friday with our friends the Potters. The line was crazy long this year but we just enjoyed visiting with each other and checking out all the costumes. It was our practice run on the boys costumes. The pumpkins were pretty cool, the boys loved it so I guess the hour and half wait was worth it.

Since Nathan was too little last to do anything but sleep in the snuggi, this was Very exciting for him. He found this little pumpkin or ball as he calls them, and wouldn't put it down the rest of the night. He got very upset when Jon wanted to put it in the trunk with the other pumpkins.

Landon had a very difficult time picking a pumpkin this was his first pick put not the one he came home with. To try to make it easier to decide Jon told the boys that they have to be able to carry their pumpkin all by themselves.

Landon REALLY wanted a pinata for his birthday party. So here is the pinata fun.... we just had to let Nathan get a swing in too.

Landon wanted a star wars cake and I had absolutely no idea how to make it. So this what Jon came up with. We put little star wars things on it with two 'light sabers' sticking out. It definitely wasn't the best cake I've ever had but Landon loved it and that's all that mattered.

At our house on Sunday Nathan climbed into the back of his dump truck (which he does regularly) and his precious cousin Payten pushed him around the room. Nathan is 16 months and Payten is almost 8, and I'm sure he is at least twice as heavy.

Jon decided to try to roast a GIGANTIC marshmallow. He evenly toasted the beast all the way around... it was perfect.

Since Jon's parents bought a trailer last week they have been itching to take it out. They decided to let Kyler come and spend the night with them since he is the only one not in school and who is not a baby. He was VERY excited and had a blast getting his grandparents all to himself. We went up the mountain to roast hot dogs and marshmallows before leaving Ky for his special night. I have to admit I was a little nervous leaving him up there. He has never stayed away from home with out Landon with him. But, he did great.

Boys will be Boys

When ever Jon sits on the floor this is usually the scene that takes place.

But in the end they are all smiles.
